22 DEC QUALITY EDUCATION FOR YOUNG LEARNERS IN TODAY’S INCREASINGLY COMPLEX AND PROTRACTED CRISES

On June 16, 2016, the LGIHE principal, Mr. Mitana John M. V. participated in the Education in Emergencies debate organized by the European Commission aimed at shifting the global approach and ambition to respond more efficiently to the needs of the millions of children and young people affected by prolonged crises.

He testified to the need for a special curriculum that adequately responds to the needs of many young learners in crisis-affected countries.
