European Parliament – S&D Group Africa Week – Brussels
Our Principal, Mr. Mitana John M.V., contributed to the discussion that took place in Brussels, on 6th April 2016, during the European Parliament – S&D Group Africa Week.
He presented an answer to the question – “Critics are made towards the education system in many African countries arguing that it does not reflect the identity and realities of the continent, as it still builds on colonial heritage. What is your take on this? There are growing voices for nationalism to be taught at youngest age – is this not a risk of identitarian isolationism and radicalisation? ”
