The Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management is a professional one- year study programme with three sessions in a year of study. All trainees are required to undertake all the Modules in addition to action research. The Programme will be run on a modular system. Programme; this would lead towards producing a final action research project report.
The Programme is intended to run on a session/trimester basis. The session basis will be implemented by following three weeks (3) of active face-to-face engagement and nine (9) weeks of self-paced teaching-learning. Other three (3) weeks will be meant for assessment, translating to fifteen (15) weeks per session. An average full-time equivalent student will be expected to study for a 20-hour week, thus requiring a minimum of 600 hours. This will be equivalent to 60 credit units for an academic year.
